📖 Happy Sunday, Everyone!⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 📖 Happy Sunday, Everyone!⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Thank you @penguinukbooks for this gifted book, 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 by 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Intricate, sharp, and sinister!⁣ ⁣ 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 is a menacing, creepy police procedural that sees psychologist Alex Delaware and LAPD Lieutenant Milo Sturgis tangled up in a thirty-six-year-old cold case that seems at first glance to be an isolated car accident, but as the investigation unfolds and numerous related murders crop up, this case quickly becomes a lot more complex and dangerous to all those involved.⁣ ⁣ The writing is descriptive and clever. The characters are multifaceted, elusive, and secretive. And the plot is an ominous, compelling mix of twists, turns, red herrings, secrets, deduction, mayhem, manipulation, violence, and murder.⁣ ⁣ Overall, 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 is riveting, dark, crafty and unbelievably the thirty-sixth book in the Alex Delaware series. I have yet to read a novel by Kellerman that isn’t suspenseful, pacey, and extremely satisfying, and this one, once again, didn’t disappoint.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 🌟🌟🌟🌟⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣#𝐐𝐎𝐓𝐃 What will be your last read of February?⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ #JonathanKellerman #Serpentine #AlexDelawareSeries⁣
🛠 Happy Saturday, Book Lovers!⁣ ⁣ Today I’m honoured to be part of the #𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 for 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐃 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐒 by 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡. Another sweet addition to the 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘙𝘶𝘯 series!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ A man who’s been moving his whole life finally finds a reason to stay put.⁣ ⁣ Charlie Matheson has spent his life taking care of things. When his parents died two days before his eighteenth birthday, he took care of his younger brother, even though that meant putting his own dreams on hold. He took care of his father’s hardware store, building it into something known several towns over. He took care of the cat he found in the woods…so now he has a cat.⁣ ⁣ When a stranger with epic tattoos and a glare to match starts coming into Matheson’s Hardware, buying things seemingly at random and lugging them off in a car so beat-up Charlie feels bad for it, his instinct is to help. When the man comes in for the fifth time in a week, Charlie can’t resist intervening.⁣ ⁣ Rye Janssen has spent his life breaking things. Promises. His parents’ hearts. Leases. He isn’t used to people wanting to put things back together—not the crumbling house he just inherited, not his future and certainly not him. But the longer he stays in Garnet Run, the more he can see himself belonging there. And the more time he spends with Charlie, the more he can see himself falling asleep in Charlie’s arms…and waking up in them.⁣ ⁣ Is this what it feels like to have a home—and someone to share it with? ⁣ ⁣ Carina Adores is home to highly romantic contemporary love stories where LGBTQ+ characters find their happily-ever-afters.⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝗪!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Thank you to @harlequinpublicityteam for supplying me with a copy.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ For more information on purchasing this title please visit @roanparrish⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣#𝐐𝐎𝐓𝐃 What are some of the things you love to purchase other than books?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣

💌 Happy Thursday, Everyone!⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Thank you @entangled_publishing and @angelabookspr for this gifted book, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝗪𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 by 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 𝐘𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐬 that combined my two favourite genres and won a special place in my heart!⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Captivating, poignant, and incredibly romantic!⁣ ⁣ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝗪𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 is an absorbing tale set in England during the early 1940s, as well as present-day Colorado, and is told from two different perspectives; Scarlett, a young officer in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force who loves to tells stories and unexpectedly finds the love of her life in a tall, handsome American pilot, and Georgia, the newly divorced, great-granddaughter of a famous author who after her passing struggles to allow her final, uncompleted manuscript and life story to be finished and published.⁣ ⁣ The writing is passionate and moving. The characters are independent, hesitant, and stubborn. And the plot, using a story within a story, sweeps you away into an engaging, touching, heartfelt tale about life, loss, friendship, family, heartbreak, tragedy, forgiveness, war, and the magic of love.⁣ ⁣ I don’t even know how to express how much I loved 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝗪𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝. Thank you so much to @poisonedpenpress for my #gifted copy!⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ How about you? What are you reading today?⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ No one ever talks about what happens in Little Compton…⁣ ⁣ When David left home three years ago, he never looked back. Now, the only connection to his tiny New England hometown is his grandmother Maggie, whose mind is unraveling as she slowly succumbs to dementia. But when her best friend turns up dead and she may be the sole witness to the crime, David has no choice but to return to a place that never accepted his trans-identity and only ever wanted him gone.⁣ ⁣ Maggie’s testimony is shrouded in doubt–in between moments of lucidity she talks about things that never happened, about apparitions, disappearances, and murders. But are they really only stories? After a man’s death sets off a hauntingly familiar chain of events, it seems there’s some truth to Maggie’s words.⁣ ⁣ With a body count on the rise, David begrudgingly plugs back into the tight-knit community to seek out the truth. And while David returns home a changed man, he finds that the ghosts of his past have waited for him. He’ll have to face them head-on before he can begin to unravel his grandmother’s story and finally put to rest the mysteries of this little town, lost in the fog.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ #DarkCurrents #DougBurgess #inkedinpoison #poisonedpenpress #thriller
