💚 Happy Monday, Bookworms!⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ T 💚 Happy Monday, Bookworms!⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Thank you so much to @kayepublicity & @harlequinbooks for gifting me a copy of 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁 by 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Romantic, cozy, and engaging!⁣ ⁣ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 is an enchanting, heartwarming story set in the quaint town of Magnolia, North Carolina, that takes you into the lives of three unlikely friends, Shauna, Annalise, and Meghan, who together tackle all the highs and lows of life including single motherhood, new love, old love, career woes, taking chances, and new beginnings.⁣ ⁣ The prose is fluid and smooth. The characters are genuine, supportive, and reliable. 📚 Last, Now, Next 📚⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Hey, Everyone. Happy Saturday!⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ I thought today I would do a #LastNowNext post as I haven’t done one in quite awhile.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ So here goes:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐀 𝐋𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐁𝐘 by 𝐀𝐧𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐤𝐰𝐮⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ This is one of those books you never forget. It’s a beautiful story that shreds the heart about two boys growing up in Nigeria. One is confident in his sexuality and not ashamed to be a gay man while bearing all the hatred and violence faced by that decision, and another is ashamed and struggling to come to grips with his sexuality but who ultimately can’t fight forever what his heart wants.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 𝐍𝐎𝗪: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁 by 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ I’m about halfway through this one and enjoying the way these three women’s lives have intersected, forming an unlikely friendship as together they tackle and share the highs and lows of their lives.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐄𝐑 by 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐥⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ My favourite genre is historical fiction, especially surrounding either of the world wars, and I’m a huge fan of Kristin Harmel’s writing, so to say this novel is one of my most-anticipated reads of the year would be an understatement. I am so excited to start this one and can’t wait to sit down, hopefully by tomorrow, and immerse myself in it.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ❓How about you Bookworms? Participate and tag me. I can’t wait to see what you’ve all been reading and are about to read.⁣⁣⁣⁣ Have you read any of these?⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Thank you so much to the tagged publishers for gifting me these novels in exchange for an honest review.⁣⁣⁣⁣ #andthenhesangalullaby #thefrontporchclub #theparisdaughter

The characters are inquisitive, fearless, and impulsive. And the plot is an astute, compelling tale about life, loss, friendship, family, secrets, curiosity, adventure, guilt, death, grief, marine life, mother nature, self-identity, and first crushes.⁣ ⁣ Overall, 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐚 is ultimately a beautifully written coming-of-age tale interwoven with a thread of mystery that does a remarkable job of delving into the complex dynamics that exist between childhood friends and is a wonderful reminder of just how complicated, challenging, memorable and emotional growing up can truly be, especially when doing so in a small island community where everyone knows everyone else.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 🌟🌟🌟🌟⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ❓Any plans this weekend?⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ #CloserbySea #PerryChafe #SimonSchusterCA #comingofagestory #mystery

The characters are strong, intelligent, and determined.
