Seductive, scandalous, and entertaining!

How to Win a Wallflower is a playful, heartwarming tale that sweeps you away to London during 1825 and into the life of the shy, handsome, newly appointed Viscount Harrow, John Barnesworth who, after living a quiet life surrounded by his inventions in Boston, returns home to find his family’s estates in shatters and relying on the help of his best friend’s little sister, the beautiful Lady Charlotte Stirling who may have been secretly pining for him for years.

The prose is amusing and light. The characters are loyal, supportive, and endearing. And the plot is a delightfully enchanting tale full of friendship, family, societal expectations, scheming behaviour, tricky situations, desire, danger, and steamy romance.

Overall, How to Win a Wallflower is an addictive, charming, enticing tale by Parish that I absolutely devoured and which is another fantastic addition to what is hands down one of my all-time favourite historical romance series.

Enticing, passionate, and amusing!

How to Deceive a Duke is set in London during the early eighteenth century and features the feisty, intelligent Fiona McTavish who, after being arrested and conditionally released, must live for a month under the same roof as the one man she hoped to never see again after he professed his love and then broke her heart five years ago, the devilishly handsome Edward Stirling, Duke of Wildforde.

The prose is passionate and alluring. The characters are fiery, stubborn, and loyal. And the plot is a delightfully scandalous blend of familial drama, societal expectations, regency traditions, friendship, desire, yearning, gossip, tricky situations, duty, and palpable attraction.

Overall, How to Deceive a Duke is a steamy, engaging, highly entertaining tale that I absolutely adored. It is the second title in the Rebel with a Cause series by Parish that, in my opinion, keeps getting better and better and is one I definitely wouldn’t want to miss.

How to Survive a Scandal is a dramatic, spirited tale that features the hardworking, laidback Benedict Asterly and the favoured, beautiful Lady Amelia Crofton as they navigate a compromising situation, a marriage of convenience, opposite backgrounds, being shunned by the ton, and an attraction that’s too hard to deny.

The prose is amusing and light. The characters are tentative, supportive, and passionate. And the plot is a push-pull tale of life, love, trust, expectations, respect, determination, familial drama, and class division.

Overall, How to Survive a Scandal is a charming, seductive, delightful debut by Parish that is a promising, enjoyable start to the Rebel with a Cause series.
