Spirited, enticing, and fun!

The Neighbor Wager is a lighthearted, engaging tale featuring the hardworking Deanna Huntington who, after working extremely hard to get her new dating app off the ground, is determined to do whatever it takes to prove her algorithms are correct, even if it means showing the boy next door who has always had a crush on her younger sister that she might actually be his better match after all.

The prose is amusing and sweet. The characters are intelligent, resolute, and confident. And the plot is a flirty, entertaining blend of life, love, friendship, chemistry, attraction, tricky situations, self-discovery, family, happiness, and romance.

Overall, The Neighbor Wager is a charming, humorous, sassy tale by Kaswell that is a contemporary twist on the classic “Sabrina” tale.

The Rebel King is a dramatic, spicy tale that takes you on a journey into the life of Tiernan Verran, the future ruler of the Dark Fae who, after hunting down the people responsible for the recent spate of fae murders, will have to finally accept his new responsibilities and be officially crowned king while also giving up the one woman, Fiona Jewel, who makes his blood boil and stirs him like no other.

The writing is sultry and smooth. The characters are consumed, witty, and intense. And the plot is a tight, tantalizing tale full of desire, temptation, chemistry, mystique, danger, deception, violence, secrets, and sizzling romance.

Overall, The Rebel King is a magical, seductive, suspenseful addition to the Deviant Kings series by Maxwell that has all the elements I’ve come to know and love in her novels, including a fierce heroine, an attentive alpha male, and a fast-paced, seductive storyline.

Her Unexpected Match is an enchanting, tender tale that features the dependable, handsome Ryan who, after meeting his little sister’s best friend, may discover that now is the right time for love, and the driven, hardworking travel writer Allie who may finally learn there’s a lot more to life than just work and that the true meaning of home is somewhere you feel cared for, supported and loved.

The prose is effortless and smooth. The characters are spirited, kindhearted, and amusing. And the plot is a delightful mix of family, friendship, tension, attraction, self-discovery, special moments, happiness, taking chances, and swoon-worthy romance.

Overall, Her Unexpected Match is a heartfelt, romantic, uplifting treat by Baker that’s a wonderful start to the Crescent Island series with its idyllic setting, affable characters, and little sliver of magic.

Imperfect Angel is a cute, steamy, action-packed romance that takes you into the life of Maisy Norgate, a spirited young woman who finds herself inadvertently in need of help from the sexy Nephilim Rhys Boyce, a half angel half human being, when she becomes the new “Keeper of the Key” to the gates of one of Hell’s worst prisons, and all sorts of demons, angels, and magical creatures come calling.

The writing is light and playful. The characters are impulsive, feisty, and amusing. And the plot is an adventure-filled tale full of danger, temptation, mystique, chemistry, attraction, witty banter, humorous mishaps, and supernatural characters.

Overall, Imperfect Angel is a humorous, charming, unique tale by Barth that is the perfect choice for anyone who loves a little spice, a dab of romance, and a whole slew of paranormal, unconventional fun.

The Dark King is a seductive, consuming, highly entertaining paranormal romance that takes you on a journey into the life of Bryn Meara, an intelligent young woman who, after losing her job and accepting a free trip to Vegas, inadvertently finds herself swept off her feet by the handsome, successful Caiden Verran who is not only the king of sin city with a proclivity for BDSM but also, unknown to most, the true fae king of the Night Court.

The writing is sensual and fluid. The characters are consumed, impulsive, and intense. And the plot is a fast-paced, delightfully salacious tale of desire, temptation, mystique, attraction, chemistry, danger, deception, sizzling romance, and the supernatural.

Overall, The Dark King is an intriguing, alluring, sultry tale by Maxwell that has just the right amount of mystery, sex, unique characters, and bad boy vibes to keep you engaged from start to finish. As most of you know, I never used to read a lot of paranormal romance, but recently I seem to be reading more and more and loving it, and The Dark King is no exception. It’s the perfect standalone to kick off this Deviant Kings series, and I can’t wait to read what this extraordinary team of otherworldly beings manage to get up to next in The Rebel King, publishing next summer.

It Takes a Villa is a charming, uplifting tale that sweeps you away to the idyllic Amalfi Coast and into the life of the grief-stricken Natalie Monroe as she reluctantly leaves her current life behind and heads to Italy to honour the plans she made with her late grandmother to renovate an abandoned villa on a tight budget, a limited renovation window, and the unexpected help from a sexy Italian architect.

The writing is fluid and sweet. The characters are hardworking, helpful, and kind. And the plot is an enchanting mix of life, love, family, friendship, hopes, dreams, community, self-discovery, taking chances, and finding a place to call home.

Overall, It Takes a Villa is an amusing, refreshing, enjoyable treat by Blades that I thoroughly enjoyed and which, ultimately, reminded me that life is truly an adventure!

Sweet, enticing, and adventurous!

A Scoundrel of Her Own is set in London during the early eighteenth century and features the spirited, independent Lady Ophelia Darby who, after accidentally reuniting with the poor boy, now successful men who once saved her life, the devilishly handsome Devlin Byrne, finds herself inadvertently falling once again for his hidden charms and tender heart regardless that society dictates he’s beneath her.

The prose is alluring and sharp. The characters are feisty, passionate, and endearing. And the plot is a delightfully scandalous blend of familial drama, regency traditions, friendship, desire, yearning, gossip, danger, tricky situations, societal expectations, and titillating romance.

Overall, A Scoundrel of Her Own is a steamy, compelling, highly amusing tale that I thoroughly enjoyed. It is the third title in the Sinful Wallflowers series by Reid that, in my opinion, keeps getting better and better.

Captivating, genuine, and adorably uplifting!

A Lot Like You is a sweet, delightfully passionate tale featuring the hardworking, ruggedly handsome, single father Wes who broke his high school tutors heart when he never seemed to notice who was sitting right in front of him, and the loyal, intelligent Sarah who after inheriting her grandmother’s neglected B&B may have to finally put her heartache aside and work with the one man she’s never quite forgotten.

The writing is amusing and light. The characters, including all the supporting characters, are kind, considerate, and fun-loving. And the plot is a heartfelt, entertaining mix of friendship, family, introspection, parenthood, support, love, community, and new beginnings.

Overall, A Lot Like Love is a charming, romantic, heartwarming treat by Snow that’s an absolutely fantastic kick-off to the new Blue Moon Bay series with its idyllic setting and endearing characters.

Forever Starts Now is an entertaining, uplifting tale that takes you on a journey into the life of Monroe Roberts, an intelligent, heartbroken, young woman who finds herself inadvertently in need of some help from the sexy, new visitor to Forever Falls, Ethan Hammersmith who may just require a little assistance of his own.

The writing is smooth and sweet. The characters are genuine, hesitant, and supportive. And the plot is a delightfully charming mix of friendship, family, life, love, introspection, secrets, misunderstandings, taking chances, and finding the true meaning of home.

Overall, Forever Starts Now is an engaging, witty, cosy tale by London that has just the right amount of emotion, passion, and angst to make this story a quick, breezy, enjoyable read.

Light, sweet, and enticing!

The Spinster and the Rake is a heartwarming, Georgian romance that transports you back to 1790s England and features the intelligent, bold, Georgiana Bly who is well educated but content with her simple, country life, and the handsome, single Duke of Thornfield, Edward Stanhope who prefers solitude, quiet, and bachelorhood but after an impulsive kiss grudgingly agrees to marry to protect reputations.

The prose is effortless and alluring. The characters are private, considerate, and appealing. And the plot is a fulfilling blend of family, friendship, societal expectations, secrets, scandal, attraction, understanding, love, and tender moments.

Overall, The Spinster and the Rake is an alluring, charming, atmospheric tale by Devon that is more character-driven than action-packed but is nevertheless a wonderful start to this Never a Wallflower series that I look forward to more of.
