Sometimes you gotta toss your whole life into a burning dumpster to find what’s most important…

Beatrice Archer has always done everything she’s supposed to —worked her ass off, ignored her non-existent personal life, and kept her mouth shut. Now she’s over it. The rat race, respectability…the underwire bras. She’s taking her life back. Starting with moving to Nowhere, Colorado to live life on her own terms.

Now Bea gives exactly zero forks. Beer for breakfast. Sugar for everything else. Baggy sweats and soft cotton undies FTW. Then a much younger and delightfully attractive cop is called to deal with her flagrant disregard for appropriate clothing outside the local diner (some folks just don’t appreciate bunny slippers) and Bea realizes there’s something missing from her little decathlon of decadence…and he might be the guy to help her out.

When it comes to breaking rules, Officer Austin Cooper is surprisingly eager to assist. He’s charming, a little bit cowboy, and a whole lot sexy. But Bea’s about to discover that breaking the rules has consequences. And all of the cherry pies in Colorado can’t save her from what’s coming…

Review:

Cute, amusing, and highly entertaining!

Breaking All the Rules is a lighthearted, feel-good tale that takes you into the life of Beatrice Archer, a young executive who, after recently being jilted for a promotion, endeavours to leave the rat race, fancy clothes, high heels, and restricting bras behind by moving to the idyllic small town of Nowhere, Colorado where she hopes to live a simpler, easy going existence which by no means includes falling head over heals for the younger, ruggedly handsome, local Officer Austin Cooper who is entirely too charming for his own good.

The prose is fun and flirty. The characters are friendly, sweet, and lovable. And the plot is an engaging, push-pull tale of family, friendship, tricky situations, playful banter, embarrassing moments, humorous hijinks, self-discovery, finding balance, happiness, romance, and love.

Overall, Breaking All the Rules is another witty, clever, enjoyable tale by Andrews that I thoroughly enjoyed and which, in my opinion, is the perfect choice for anyone who loves a good rom-com that has a whole lot of humour, heart, and heat.

For five years, Cecilia Morgan’s entire existence has revolved around playing personal assistant to self-centered former NFL quarterback Wade Carter. But just when she finally gives her notice, his father’s health fails, and Wade whisks her back to his hometown. CC will stay for his dad—for now—even if that means ignoring how sexy her boss is starting to look in his Wranglers.

To say CC’s notice is a bombshell is an insult to bombs. Wade can’t imagine his life without his “left tackle.” She’s the only person who can tell him “no” and strangely, it’s his favorite quality. He’ll do anything to keep her from leaving, even if it means playing dirty and dragging her back to Credence, Colorado, with him.

But now they’re living under the same roof, getting involved in small-town politics, and bickering like an old married couple. Suddenly, five years of fighting is starting to feel a whole lot like foreplay. What’s a quarterback to do when he realizes he might be falling for his “left tackle”? Throw a Hail Mary she’ll never see coming, of course.

Review:

Charming, engaging, and fun!

Nothing But Trouble is a passionate, workplace romance that introduces the hardworking, fiery CC, a young woman dedicated to her job but ready to head out on her own and start anew, and the confident, magnetic Wade, whose past has left him wary of the idea of forever and not too eager to risk his heart once again.

The writing is amusing and light. The characters, including all the supporting characters, are gregarious, spirited and lovable. And the plot sweeps you away into an original, irresistible, push-pull storyline filled with witty banter, honest emotion, shameless flirting, palpable chemistry, light drama, swoon-worthy romance, family, friendship, and community.

Overall, Nothing But Trouble is a fabulous, entertaining read that I thoroughly enjoyed. It has a wonderful cast of characters, a unique and steamy storyline, and a happy-ever-after ending that will not only leave you smiling but anxious to read what will happen in Credence, Colorado next.

Excerpt:

CC blasted a superior look in Wade’s direction. He was eating cookies, and crumbs had stuck to his lips. The sudden urge to lick those crumbs off those lips hit her out of the blue. Who knew farmer porn got more interesting with the addition of cookie crumbs? She knew they made ice cream better, but…

Oh, for crying out loud—what in hell was withher today?

Was she delirious? Or did every woman who entered the Credence town limits suddenly develop a thing for the town’s number one son? Like he needed any more adoration.

Welcome to Credence, Colorado, population 2,134.

Birthplace of Wade “The Catapult” Carter.

That’s what the welcome sign had said on the way in today. She’d thought it kinda funny and had given him some shit about it, but maybe it had been some kind of portent? A warning to poor, unsuspecting females.

Beware, all ye who enter here, estrogen hazard ahead.

“We don’t name them, anyway,” Wade said, breaking into her analysis.

Cal nodded. “That’s right, darlin’. Mighty hard to eat something that’s going to end up in burgers and sausages when it has a name.”

CC gasped, horrified, looking down into Wilburta’s—she’d already feminized the name, despite her earlier insistence—pretty face. “What, allof them? Don’t you…” She glanced between Wade and his father. “Keep some? Like for…kids’ parties and…petting zoos and stuff?”

Wade laughed again. “Hell no. But dibs on suggesting it to Wyatt.”

In this grudge match, the first to score…

When style columnist Matilda Kent accidentally lets slip that she was once involved with the captain of the Sydney Smoke rugby team, she suddenly finds herself elevated to the position she’s always wanted – feature writer. The catch? She’s stuck doing a six-part series on her ex. Still, there’s no way she can turn down a promotion…or the chance to dish the dirt on the guy who so callously broke her heart.

…could win it all!

Tanner Stone wants to be involved in a feature series about as much as he wants to snap an Achilles. But the thought of seeing Tilly again is a bonus—and has him more worked up than he wants to admit. Only he’s not prepared for how different she is – all cool and professional. His Tilly is still in there, though…and he still wants her, now more than ever. All he has to do is charm her into giving him a rematch. And this time, winner takes all!

Review:

Blazingly hot and wonderfully sassy!

This is the perfect blend of heart, humour, and sex.

It is a scrumptious story that combines a ruggedly handsome, charming rugby player with a beautiful, intelligent, wary journalist, complete with a plot filled with racy innuendos, sizzling tension, incredible chemistry, and brilliantly witty dialogue.

This is the perfect summer read and a true guilty pleasure. And I can guarantee you that the next book in the Sydney Smoke Series will definitely have a prime spot in “my to read” pile once it’s released.

He’s done playing the nice guy…

Newly single school counselor Josie Butler just made herself a Sexy To-Do list (featuring Bad Boys only). To her mortification, her best friend’s gorgeous older brother Mack finds it…and laughs. But when Josie goes looking for some sexy fun, Mack’s nice guy side turns all hot bad-assery, and suddenly she’s pinned against an alley wall. Hottest. Sex. Ever.

Veterinarian Mack Kennedy can’t believe Josie wants to ditch her sweet, girl-next-door lifestyle. Even worse, that she’d consider doing it with anyone but him. When she leaves for London they’ll go back to being ‘just friends’ but until then, he’s going to show her just how bad nice guys can be.

And it’s the perfect plan, as long as no one finds out… and no one falls in love.

Review:

What can I say… I liked it.

Yes, the storyline was predictable. Yes, it’s been done lots of times before, but isn’t that why we love these types of books.

No More Mr. Nice Guy was fun, romantic, and sexy all in one. And let’s be honest, who hasn’t had a crush on a friend’s brother at one time or another?

It was an easy read with a happy ending.

Indulge. I don’t think it will disappoint.
