Synopsis:

This funny, charming and heartwarming new Christmas novel is USA TODAY bestselling author Sarah Morgan at her festive best!

In the snowy perfection of Aspen, the White family gathers for youngest daughter Rosie’s whirlwind Christmas wedding. First to arrive are the bride’s parents, Maggie and Nick. Their daughter’s marriage is a milestone they are determined to celebrate wholeheartedly, but they are hiding a huge secret of their own: they are on the brink of divorce. After living apart for the last six months, the last thing they need is to be trapped together in an irresistibly romantic winter wonderland.

Rosie’s older sister, Katie, is also dreading the wedding. Worried that impulsive, sweet-hearted Rosie is making a mistake, Katie is determined to save her sister from herself! If only the irritatingly good-looking best man, Jordan, would stop interfering with her plans…

Bride-to-be Rosie loves her fiancé but is having serious second thoughts. Except everyone has arrived—how can she tell them she’s not sure? As the big day gets closer, and emotions run even higher, this is one White family Christmas none of them will ever forget!

Review:

Quaint, alluring, and evocative!

A Wedding in December is a delightfully amusing, heartfelt tale that sweeps you away to the beautiful winter wonderland of Aspen, Colorado and immerses you into the lives of the White family, especially three strong women, as they gather to celebrate, interrogate, support, heal, grow, communicate, repair relationships, take chances, and start anew.

The prose is vivid and expressive. The characters are genuine, reliable, and compassionate. And the plot, including all the subplots, intertwine and unravel effortlessly into a mesmerizing tale of life, love, friendship, self-reflection, determination, independence, happiness, humorous mishaps, romantic moments, and the special bonds between sisters.

Overall, A Wedding in December is another absorbing, uplifting, magical tale by Morgan that does a brilliant job of highlighting her exceptional ability to create relatable characters, idyllic places, and memorable storylines that thoroughly enchant from start to finish.

About Jo McNally

Jo McNally lives in coastal North Carolina with 100 pounds of dog and 200 pounds of husband – her slice of the bed is very small. When she's not writing or reading romance novels (or clinging to the edge of the bed...), she can often be found on the back porch sipping wine with friends, listening to great music. If the weather is absolutely perfect, she'll occasionally join her husband on the golf course, where she always feels far more competitive than her actual skill-level would suggest.

Synopsis:

Co-parenting with her best friend. What could go wrong?

The next three decades of Abby Herbert’s life are as carefully planned out as the last three were. Best career ever? Check. Great friends, one of whom she lives with in a stunning Tribeca apartment? Check. Perfect man to share her dream family? Surely just a matter of time. But then she gets devastating news from her doctor—if she wants to get pregnant, she needs to get started on that by…well, yesterday. On the bright side, she has the perfect person in mind to be the father.

Tech entrepreneur Marcus Ross has been harboring decidedly not-friends feelings toward Abby. He doesn’t want to lose her and, knowing his feelings are one-sided, he’s been trying to move on. When he learns about the curveball Abby’s just been hit with, he promises to be there for her however she wants him to be, even if the idea of fatherhood is a little complicated for him right now. But it isn’t long until boundaries start to blur, and a deal struck between friends starts to turn into something perilously close to feelings that could change everything…

Review:

Sweet, touching, and romantic!

Unexpected is an adorable, lively tale that introduces us to the gamer and planner extraordinaire Abby who just discovered her dream to become a mother needs to occur sooner rather than later, and her commitment-phobic, best friend Marcus who is more than willing to help out the girl he’s secretly in love with as long as in the end he can have it all.

The prose is witty and warm. The characters are fun-loving, hesitant, and engaging. And the plot is a playful mix of push-pull drama, chemistry, flirty banter, palpable attraction, tender moments, and steamy baby-making.

Overall, Unexpected is a contemporary, charming, entertaining tale that has just the right amount of emotion, angst, and passion to make this an easy, lighthearted, enjoyable read.

And when the unthinkable happens, the girls must come together to face the greatest test of all.

Review:

Sweet, affecting, and exceptionally absorbing!

The Little Teashop on Main is an enchanting, heartwarming story set in the quaint town of Laurel Springs that takes us into the lives of Zoe, Emily, and Shannon as together they tackle all the highs and lows of life through shared moments, a few tears, lots of laughs, and an abundance of tea.

Synopsis:

Love was the last thing on this untamed cowboy’s mind…until she stole his heart away.

Cleo Delaney will do anything to keep her promise and raise her best friend’s sons—even if it means telling a little white lie to the state to keep them. So Cleo turns to the only person she can trust to help her—her first love, Judd Laramie. If he fosters the three young brothers in name only, she’ll do all the heavy lifting. It’s a foolproof plan…but she never imagined that the feelings they once shared would return. With a vengeance.

Texas deputy Judd Laramie is stunned by Cleo’s request. Being a dad—even on paper—is the last thing this cowboy needs right now. But no one knows better than Judd how flawed the foster system is and how much these brothers need Cleo’s protective love. What starts as a simple lie becomes so much more, and soon it’s clear Judd needs Cleo and the family they’ve created as much as they need him. Now he’ll do whatever it takes to win Cleo’s heart and claim the future they all deserve.

Review:

Spicy, sexy, and heartfelt!

Hot Texas Sunrise is a lighthearted, second-chance romance between the dedicated, selfless Cleo who’s determined to do whatever it takes to protect her best friend’s orphaned children and the conscientious, handsome Judd who’s got enough on his plate just battling his own demons from the past.

The prose is smooth and fluid. The characters are engaging, scarred, well-drawn, and endearing. And the plot is an affecting tale full of family, secrets, abuse, deception, hilarious hijinks, witty banter, palpable chemistry, steamy romance, as well as a little insight into the limitations, deficiencies, maltreatment, neglect, and odd success story of the foster care system.

Overall, Hot Texas Sunrise is a warm, charming, entertaining read that I feel has just the right amount of emotion, angst, drama, passion, and cowboys to make this an excellent choice for those who love contemporary, western romance.

Synopsis:

USA TODAY bestselling author Sarah Morgan returns with this heartwarming novel about the power of friendship, love and what happens when an ending is just the beginning…

To celebrate their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary, Grace has planned the surprise of a lifetime for her husband—a romantic getaway to Paris. But she never expected he’d have a surprise of his own: he wants a divorce. Reeling from the shock but refusing to be broken, a devastated Grace makes the bold decision to go to Paris alone.

Audrey, a young woman from London, has left behind a heartache of her own when she arrives in Paris. A job in a bookshop is her ticket to freedom, but with no money and no knowledge of the French language, suddenly a summer spent wandering the cobbled streets alone seems much more likely…until she meets Grace, and everything changes.

Grace can’t believe how daring Audrey is. Audrey can’t believe how cautious newly single Grace is. Living in neighboring apartments above the bookshop, this unlikely pair offer each other just what they’ve both been missing. They came to Paris to find themselves, but finding this unbreakable friendship might be the best thing that’s ever happened to them…

Review:

Pensive, uplifting, and delightfully addictive!

One Summer in Paris is a heartwarming, compelling tale that takes you on a journey to the magical City of Lights and into the lives of the middle-aged, newly single Grace and the young, unsettled Audrey as they discover together the importance of taking chances, accepting change, embracing the future, and finding contentment.

The prose is amusing and polished. The characters are complex, quirky, authentic, and endearing. And the plot is a beguiling story about life, loss, family, determination, kindness, forgiveness, self-discovery, happiness, romance, and the true value of friendship.

Overall, I would have to say that One Summer in Paris is thoughtful, emotive, and charming and with its rich characterization and beautiful storyline, it’s another stunning example of why Sarah Morgan is one of my all-time favourite authors.

A spy on a mission…Until he meets this heiress!

Miss Theodora Cranford’s learned to keep her impetuous nature locked away. She won’t be deceived by another man who can’t see past her fortune. She wants an honourable, sensible sort – not a self-assured scoundrel like her new neighbour, Lord Gray. Although she’s sure there’s more to him than meets the eye… But after that first captivating kiss, she’s certainly left wanting more!

Review:

Romantic, rousing, and entertaining!

The Disgraceful Lord Gray is set in the Suffolk countryside during 1820 and features the feisty, willful Theodora Cranford who may unexpectedly find herself in need of a hero, as well as the dashing, yet jaded Lord Gray who may finally have found the right woman to give his heart to.

The prose is witty and authentic. The characters are warm, passionate, and mischievous, including the lovable, four-legged, incorrigible Trefor. And the plot is an amusing, mysterious mix of Regency lifestyle, scoundrel behaviour, family drama, attraction, humorous antics, espionage, mishaps, danger, and romance.

Overall, The Disgraceful Lord Gray is a lighthearted, engaging, delightful read that’s perfect for anyone who loves historical romance with a side of adventure. And even though it’s the third book in The King’s Elite series, it can certainly be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.

About Virginia Heath

When Virginia Heath was a little girl it took her ages to fall asleep, so she made up stories in her head to help pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories became more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace the insomnia and start writing them down. Fortunately, the lovely people at Harlequin Mills & Boon took pity on her and decided to publish her romances, but it still takes her forever to fall asleep.

Fast-paced, provocative, and twisty!

The Conspiracy is the first novel in a new series by Martin that introduces us to Harper Winston, a determined, worried, young woman who embarks on a perilous journey to find her missing brother with the help of the resourceful, sexy, Chase Garrett.
